    Made some significant progress today and thought another update, likely the last before the final, was in order.
    She's a biplane, up on her feet, and rigging is complete including the flight control cables.





I still have to add the Parabellum in the Observers Cockpit, the exhaust manifold, the scratch built radiator shutter control handle, and some weathering. With that completed I'll start working on the hand carved prop to complete the Build. Very last will come some final touch ups including some more sealing of the rib tapes with a final top coat of satin/semi gloss.









    A good one day session at the Bench this week and she'll be a "wrap"!

Simply amazing! From the Tarnstoff decals which are absolutely perfect down to the light taping of the fuselage edges and the (replacement?) wheels -- a pure joy to look at. I also love the paint chipping on the metal parts.

Many Thanks Guys, I'm flattered and not entirely sure it deserves such generous compliments. I took another close look at it last night and it certainly will need some touch ups, all the handling during the last week or so left it's marks here and there.

Thanks Stephen, it isn't in too bad shape. The usual lifting of the lozenge decals in places along the edges, a few minor scratches, and some edges where the paint has worn off a bit, nothing major thankfully!

    Another step closer to a "Completed Model". Today Mr.. Bean carved a propeller, and only cut one finger, thankfully a minor abrasion but lots of red stuff on the bench, MvR would have been proud!
    Here's step #1, the rough outline carving on the Blank done some time back:



Here's the first pass at cutting the full profile:



.... and here's the two sides with primary sanding completed:





    The Kit's prop has a very thin hub so I elected to salvage one from the spares box. I may rummage around tomorrow for a larger one but this should do in a pinch!



...... and here it is ready for staining, sealing, and an Axial decal.



    Now it's on to the exhaust manifold, Parabellum, and a few other small parts.
