I quote Bob, so many of us are making wooden props, I would like to try as well and your technique is really interesting!

Thank you all for your far too generous compliments, very much appreciated! We had Family visiting over the weekend so no progress was made, I'll get an update done tomorrow hopefully.

This is the last update for this Build, I finished her this afternoon. Here's some photos of the completed Axial prop, the Parabellum, and the minor additions such as the exhaust and flare rack.
    First one completed shot:

and now a few details completed.......

The Parabellum was completed using the Kit version with the PE cooling jacket, the magazine support rod was added using stainless guitar wire.

    Here's the flare rack installed........

and finally the exhaust was added.

And that's all there is, I'll get some photos up on Completed models tomorrow. A nice Kit and a classic I'm happy to add to my collection. Not the easiest of their Kits but a slow and steady pace kept it a pleasant one!
Cheers,
Lance

Wonderful Lance in all respects. A great build log and a gem of an outcome at conclusion! Thank you for sharing and congratulations - I love this plane.

My only confusion is the magazine on the parabellum - completely different from the kit one on my version - is it an after market version? No matter what it looks very good!

Cheers
Alistair

Steve, Thanks for the kind comments. As for the wood props, from the skills you've demonstrated here it would be a "cake walk" for you!

Much appreciated Rick and Greg, means a lot coming from you Guys!
Alistair, the Parabellum is from the Kit sprues with the rolled Photo Etch cooling jacket used. The magazine is different then the one on the "generic" WNW Armament Sprue that also came with the Kit. My Kit was the Duelist one so maybe it's an add on to the original kit. If you have that version (Duelist with the Clerget Camel) I'm pretty sure it was on Sprue A but can check for you tomorrow if you wish.
Cheers,
Lance

Lance, this build report was a big show (including suspense  ;)) and the result is mind blowing!

Such models are a big invitation to change to the big scale!
So I have to say it 100 times: No, I do not to buy a WNW kit. No, I do not ......................................

Cheers,
Frank
