Mark & Tom, Thanks for your generous comments.
I finally have an update, albeit small scale as time at the work bench has been severely restricted of late by Spring yard work and some long overdue home renovations.
Having completed the lozenge and sealing it some light post shading was added to the flying surfaces. Since this aircraft was probably handed over right from the Factory I want to keep weather and wear effects reasonably light.

I got the engine cowlings installed next and, despite all my worries, they fitted like little gloves! These I weathered (wore) heavily per the reference photos.

Also added a little oil spray and grime to the bottom and some dirt to the lower wings where the wheels tend to toss stuff...........

.........and some scuff and dirt marks to the cockpit access point on the left fuselage. The coaming needs some touch ups and a wash of black to bring out the creases and ripples.

Here's a shot of the radiator grill, PE from RB Productions, highly recommended little A/M gem. Note to Self..........I see I need to re-spray a little brass on the top of the Radiator.

I'm glad I kept engine detail to the top only, all else is completely hidden with the cowlings on.

Axle Wing with gear struts ready to install....

......and last the hand carved Niendorf Prop; any prop logo experts out there that can positively confirm I've got the correct logo so I can get some sleep!?!

The prop boss is carefully removed from the Kit original. I have to install the rear boss before permanently installing the prop.

Next the Flash Guards, windshield, and Guns get installed, then the struts and upper wing followed by all the "tiny bits". Great Kit thus far, incredibly well engineered fits all round!
I really hope to get some time at her this week as the finish is actually very close.
Cheers,
Lance
