Dear all,
here I am with new progresses:
This is the current state of my model:

- I glued the turnbuckles to the lower wing
- the radiator was set to its place
Then I worked on the cabane:
- struts and corresponding rigging
- aldis gunsight (I didn't consider it when putting the cabane struts in place so there was not enough room to put the gun sight nearer to the windscreen... where it should be ...

- MGs in place
Then I worked on the tail piece, glued the horizontal and vertical surfaces, set up the rigging, and glued the struts below the horizontal plans.
This was indeed the most fatiguing operation today, it was so difficult to take the EZ wire with the tweezers and slip it into the hole of the control horns...

Some more detailed views of the tail:

The windshield provided by the kit was totally unacceptable it was squared, so I copied the correct shape from a paper SVA model which had the correct windshield used by the 87th squadriglia onto an acetate foil using a thin marker, then cut it with the small scissors:

To give it a curved shape I fastened it in some way onto this slightly conic shape...

And heated with an hairdryer, then I left it cooling and the curved shape was kept:

Wiev from behind the cockpit with a rear-view mirror I made with a punch-and-die over a piece of cardboard which had one "mirror" side

Thanks for looking
Antonio
