here are some new pics from latest progresses:

wood grain in the cockpit.
I know the grain effect here is not the best, but as it will be hidden I preferred not to bother making realistic streaking between each of the inner struts.
I decided to leave the inner cockpit structure as it's molded on the fuselage in a very realistic way.

the propeller... here I "bothered" making the "realistic" woodgrain and I'm satisfied with the effect. ;-)

Front and back panels of the cockpit.
The oil pump on the front panel is scratch built because the original piece was eaten by the floor monster... >-) THe tube is a 0,3 mm electric wire painted with rubber black.
The seat is really nice, the belts are molded on the cushion but the detail is so sharp.

Here is the seat fastened to the back panel.

Instrument panel (dials are hand painted) and fuel pump (pump handle was scratch built).
I hope tomorrow I'll assemble the cockpit and maybe close the fuselage...
