That’s a really great looking model Rick! This is one of my favorite aircraft. I've been following Alexis' and Rafael's builds to. And of course the one that Des built.

I have the Roden version, but I'm afraid the box will keep on gathering dust for some time to come.

Thanks Willem, good to hear from you! The rigging is a challenge and one I am certainly not meeting to the Level of Rafael or Des did. That being said in a way I am encouraged by My results after Years of being intimidated by this kit!

I have managed to attach the right  side control lines....barely! I had another session in which I would connect one wire and destroy two others. I ended up having to use stretched Sprue again, in some cases replacing former monofilament lines that I burned through or pulled loose. The worst thing is that I destroyed a double and single flying and landing wire run on the left inner bay. That will be a PITA to replace. All and all I am getting closer  :-\

PS: One positive thing on having a mishap is that when I was forced to remove and replace the wires in the forward section of the booms it released the tension allowing them to go back to the proper shape  8)

Thanks Przemo. The replacement of the inner bay wires on the left side are hopefully the last BIG challenge  ::)

Keep going Rick - you are getting there! I used elestic thread for the control lines on my large scale pushers as it caused fewer tension induced problems.

The DH2 is looking really great, Rick! In spite of the mishaps it is very neat and clean, the rigging certainly looks the part! Well done! Regards, Marc
