I think that you are being too self critical with this one - from the photos at least it really look s the part and I am sure that observers will not see the tiny errors that shout out at you. You have done a super job on the painting and weathering and the rigging looks much better than very good.

That weathering really gives it a beat up look - just the thing to go along with the battle damage!

Thanks Ken. As any good IPMS judge knows, "Weathering" is just a way to cover up flaws  ...so the battle damage is not as visible

This is, Hopefully, the last one prior to completed models. All of the rigging is re attached, touched up, and tightened. I have done some painting on the wing rondels, especially the ailerons, to represent an old ,worn, airframe, that had it's ailerons replaced.

I think you've done a marvelous job Rick. I like the color scheme you used and I can't see anything wrong with rigging. You shouldn't be too critical of yourself. I think you can be very proud of this beautiful bird.

 Yes, doing the rigging for this bird is really a nightmare.
To me your rigging looks very good, all the cables are straight and where they should be.
