Certainly coming on well Rick. I agree with Willem that the weathering is super - just the right tones and not overdone. I also agree with Richie: to me PE belts just do not look right....and now you can finish the Spad!

Your weathering looks super!  Very realistic.  Nice recovery on the seat belt.

This is looking so good already Rick. Beautiful weathering!

Willem

Thanks Willem. Your comments are appreciated.

Great stuff Rick, your interior looks amazing and your scratch built seat belt is fantastic. I think it looks more realistic than photo etch so possibly a lucky accident. Especially when you factor in finding the Spad pilot's step. This looks like a fun project for you. :)

Richie

Thanks for commenting Richie! Yep, In the end losing that seat belt turned out OK.

Thanks Stephen. I am pleaded with the weathering on the Nacelle. Sometimes it is more difficult to quit while you are ahead  8)

Thanks Dave. By the way, I used a "Hairy Stick" for the PC 10 fabric portions  :o

The small fuselage already closed? You are damn fast! Looks nice, after it's heavy usage.
Is the seat PE? I think it is not visible on your pictures, only on one picture it shows a nice structure on the backrest.

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank. The seat is the kit seat with just a wash to bring out the details. I will try to get a better shot on the next update  8)

PS: Although Not related to this thread look at British "PRU" blue for the French "Horizon Blue". Pretty close IMHO

I have begun to add a bit of color to the wings on the DH2. A Tamiya mix of buff and white with some oil washes. AMC will Neither confirm or Deny the existence of an Albatros DII at their Factory  ::)
