I really like your light green mix(es) Rick!  Looks very sharp.  Seeing these three in full livery will be a visual treat. ;D

Best regards,

Bob

So, I ran out of Tamiya thinner and Lacquer thinner and only got one more color added to the Bleriot and Kelner built SPADS. Going out tomorrow in hopes of getting both but should at least be able to find the Lacquer Thinner at Wal Mart. Probably will need to fine tune the beige areas on the fuselage as the other colors are applied.

PS: Although it appeas that there is grey in front of the beige it is lighting. The areas in front of the beige are actually light green!

PPS: The beige has the same Aluminum dope mixture as the green but it is not as evident. Wondering if the darker the color the less it shows  ::)

RAGIII,
Good luck during your hunt for thinner. I look forward to seeing the next colour you apply.

Thanks Kevin. It is a bit frustrating as I should have been able to get the Dark green done today!

That is majorly annoying. I sympathize. Air brush ran out of CO2 in the middle of a job, so I know the feeling.

There is something fundamentally amiss with a society which forces it's modelers to work for a living.

How annoying but hopefully the hunt for thinner will be successful. The paint is going on very smoothly though and the colours look  fantastic.

When you get there, there is something weird about the undercarriage in this kit

The legs are square, the bottom part moulded on the axle is correctly profiled

I've just sorted that on mine

Thanks Richie. Like I said I am sure I can get Lacquer thinner. I Like the Tamiya X20A better for thinning the paint but the Lacquer thinner works!

I managed to pick up the Lacquer thinner today so I did make some progress. I masked for the Dark Green then sprayed it on both Models. I had mentioned earlier that I had a sophisticated Masking Method, Silly Putty! Just a bit of re shaping needed on some areas but overall it went well!
