Thanks Terri! I started on the PC10. I used Xtra Color so it takes a while....days to dry. Due to a couple of things I did I will need to do some sanding and polishing then paint some more. Wish Me luck! I do really like the color though so that is a positive.

While waiting for the PC 10 paint to dry on the fuselage and wings I have done a small amount of work on the pilot. I have applied an acrylic base of flesh and added a bit of darker wash around the eyes and helmet line. The Next step will be to use artists oils of varying flesh tones to blend it all together...I hope

Nice to have you along Terri! I have given the second coat of paint to the fuselage and wings. I really like the XTRA Color PC 10. Looks green in some lighting and brownish green in others.

Looking fantastic, lovely even finish. I really like that PC10 colour too.

I've stalled on mine due to catching flu and having a series of minor mishaps. Enjoying what I'm seeing here though.

Thanks Richie. I hope you feel better soon! Mishaps are common to me as I have said before. I actually had to sand and polish the first PC 10 application because of glitches that were self created!

Its looking good with color on it, Rick.  Also looks like a shiny base for decals.
The figure's face looks like Herman Munster!

Thanks Ken. I appreciate your comment! The XTRA Color paint really is great to work with except for the Drying Time involved! As for the figure I think he got a bit Pixelated when I edited the photo. I Must admit that in this photo there is a certain Herman Munster resemblence  ::)

Not dropped by recently Rick, so I have just caught up. The pilot looks fine to me and if you can put some details on his face he will look the part. The PC 10 is also convincing and the finish first class. (Not that I have come to expect any less from you.... No pressure!!)

Stephen.

Thanks Terri. I am going to add a little variance as the original had at least three schemes carried. On the Minus side I have Joined the Elite club of having broken off a Cabane Strut! I was tinkering with the lower wing fit and a slip caused the left rear strut to be unattached by incidental contact  :-[  I take little solace in the fact that better Modelers Like Lance have suffered the same fate  >:(
RAGIII

PS: I also painted the variance with a Valejo Mix of Olive Brown and Russian Green. Also painted the undersurface with Tamiya Buff. I have done a bit of rib and spar see through for a later Oil Soaking.

Looking great Rick, apart from the broken strut you're motoring along very smoothly here. But as you say you've joined an elite club.
