After my koffee break it was time to get down to business and get those struts mounted . Struts are now mounted and set aside to dry overnight . Tomorrow will be top wing and rest of the finished parts  :)

The struts aren't all the small length , but after looking at photo's this differ from aircraft to aircraft .

This model is really shaping up nicely, Terri. Bravo! The early Eduard plastics are kind of scary and you've done some super nice work taming this one and bringing it up to snuff.

Thanks guys , it is going rather easier then what I was expecting with the struts and for saw ...  "beat head against wall unit it becomes clear " Didn't ended up going down that path ...tired of patching the wall ! ;)

It's tea break ... so time for another up-date . Top wing is now mounted as well as the tail planes waiting the tail plane struts to be fixed . These are PE and I didn't test their fit , didn't even cut them out . They are painted and ready to go with plan B as a back up .

That looks super Terri. Those star struts are not the easiest type to mount but clearly you had them properly sorted from the start. This is definitely going to be one of your more interesting models.

Stephen.

Brilliant, those struts look to have worked out perfectly. Got any tips on how to patch up walls? ;D

Great work! The model with struts but without topwing looks kind of crazy, pieces of wood going everywhere! I really like your wood tones! /Fredrik

Thank you Terri for showing your fight against/with this star strutter!
The best thing on this bird is that you don't need rigging lines ;D
Nice looking model! One day I will try to follow your steps ...

There are sooo much nice and special birds in this huge format 560 pages book:

but we see the model x+1 of the Bf109 or Fw190 ::)
Thank you Eduard to convert such bird into a model kit!

Cheers,
Frank
