Thanks Richie! I am far from a great Modeler and identify with something you said in your first post on your build log. If I can inspire someone to think..."I can Do that" then My reason for posting build logs is fulfilled! By this time in My builds all rigging location holes are drilled and I have a plan for the rigging. I use structural rigging running through the wings. Just a suggestion that now is the time to plan

PS: I usually don't blow My Own Horn but I am quite pleased with the Wood Grain!

Thanks and,Yes, there will be a panel. It is one of the two cut down options supplied in the kit. Still more visible than the standard panels

While waiting for the oils to dry on the wood grain I have done some work on the pilot, engine, and engine cowling. The CSM figure has been cleaned up, assembled, and primed. The engine is ready for plug wires and a few more colors/ weathering. The Cowling has been painted and I HOPE represents a subtle version of the "Turning" , Maybe even too subtle?

The cowling looks like real aluminium to me, I like it a lot. Can't wait to see the next step on weathering the engine. I need a few tips on this.

I worked on the engine today. Added plug wires and did an oil wash to dirty things up. I have actually used about 4 colors on the cylinders, steel, aluminum, copper and blue. Can't really tell though

Just a bit of touch up and it is done.
