Wow Terri, you are a building Machine! The additions and scribing all look great as do the struts. I am really looking forward to the painting stage!

So Am I Rick which I'm hoping this weekend can start with the wood effect on the fuselage and make a start on masking the wings . I'm not sure about a building Machine . The struts took better part of a day to clean up and drill .

Thanks for following a long Rick  :)

Making great progress on this Terri.

I'm curious as to why your posts only contain one thumbnail each?  Is there some restriction by your internet service provider or something?

Well Ken , thats a good question . I have tried before with more then one photo and I get a message the file is to big . Now taking into account that I know nothing about computers und talk that is related to such things . This just saves me a lot of frustration doing it this way . I don't think it is related to my internet provider my plan has unlimited data for down loading and up loading so I'm sure that it is on my end .

The weekends I came make some good progress on my builds . I'm not a winter person . Spring will be here soon and the warmer weather which means less bench time . I really miss mountain biking !!!!  I'm going through withdraws  :)

I, too, am a mountain biker and long for better weather.  However, the weather here doesn't usually stop me if I really want to ride, so progress on my builds is somewhat slower.

I was away last weekend Terri and missed your updates. You really are bringing this one under control at last - truly wonderful progress. With paint this is going to be another of your winners.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback  :) The weekend plan is to get the struts finished off so I can move on to the painting and I'm crossing my fingers now that it all goes nice and smoothly .

Ken , I used to ride in the winter time but the drivers here and the city not having so good plowing skills , it's just safer catching thee bus . What's your ride ? My ride is a custom Cannondale RZ 120 .

With it being a snowy kind of day it was perfekt for sitting in front of the bench and getting this next stage over . Star Struts are assembled . On the single long struts I drilled a hole in the middle and bevelled this to allow some wiggle room . It's all held together with a brass pin and super glue . I have also started with the paint of the wooden parts and the wings and rudder are black based ready for masking off the structure . Once dry so I can handle the parts ... more pic's coming .

The rather complicated strut arrangement looks great Terri!

I remember making the star struts for my HB CC and they were a real pain. Looks to me as though you have got around the easy part - fitting them is the difficult bit!
