Thanks for the positive comments, gents, much appreciated!
I have working slowly (better than not at al!) on this again and have reprinted the main parts with improved supports. The tail printed well but there was a slight warp along the rear edge after it dried out. I beefed up the supports again and the result looks good enough to use now - as long as I don't break it removing the supports!

Just for fun, here's one of the earlier, warped, prints with the kit tail!

Definitely worth all the effort!
The engine also came out well, but again needed some extra supports on the ends to stop it curling. A simple enough cure, and I'm very happy with how it's turned out.

With a bit of paint on it, the detail stands out nicely. I really wasn't expecting those tiny rocker arm mounts to print that well!

Paint has also been thrown at various other small parts. Seen here are the seats, engine inlet manifolds, gravity tank, fuselage fuel tank, control wheel, and engine block. Missing are the coolant tanks which were painted copper.

I've also made a start on the fuselage interior. The front half on this model was aluminium, with fabric only on the rear half.

That's all for now. I'm on hols with family back in England and Guernsey for the next 2 weeks, but then you're used to no updates so pretty much business as usual!
Thanks for looking in!
