Phenomenal woodwork!
And the aircraft is so dilapidated - this will be a lot of work to get it back in a usable state! ::)

Hello my dear friends.
Thank you for all the kind comments regarding my work!!!! :)

A lot of time went by since my last update since I had a little trouble with my first attempt with the water.
The resin did not cure the way it should do and bubbles accured inside and made it look very strange.







Now I decided to make everything new and much better. I wanted to have more motion in the waves. So I modeled nice waves with modeling clay. After curing I brushed a rich layer of glossy varnish over it.









Then I pured moulding silicone over it to make a negative mould for my waves.

Now I could fill my new type of resin (coloured green and blue) into the mould. after a week of curing I demoulded the resin waves.





With AK's snow and snow sprinkles I imitated the white crests of the waves.







With syntetic cotton and Vallejo's acrylic water I added some more spume. (Here is still a lot of work to do to let the water look more glossy and the spume more realistic. An update will come)









Now it was time to start the work on the brickwall of the wharf.
For this I took a piece of balsa board and glued clay bricks from Juveela piece by piece onto it.





I crushed some of the bricks to make it look more realistic.



With plaster and pigments I grouted the wall.





Now I started the weathering with different green and brown washings and started to plant some moss and grasses on the wall.









More will come soon.
