Hallo friends.
Yesterday I found some energy to complete the work on the wings.
Here are some pictures.
The pictures look a bit over-saturated because I took them with a low light and had to balance the white (my GIMP sw does not allow scaling the white intensity).
I also used the the cockades from the Blue Rider sheet, they were in good conditions, just one cockade broke (the break line is visible in one of the pics below) but I managed to make the halves meet. I also cut the roundels in two separating the part of the decal that should go on the aileron from the one that goes on the wing.
I also invented small pieces of plasticard with couples of holes to anchor the double threads crossing between the struts parallel to the trailing edge.
I decided to use eyelets to anchor the threads between corresponding front and back struts (parallel to the fuselage).

The halo around the roundel (it shows on all the 4 roundels) is due to the paint against the masking tape (I gave the wings many coats and it turned as a thick border I was not able to take away)

The "holes" on the ailerons will be used to let the control cables go to the control horns. I put there some rimming cutting the plastic external tube of an electric wire.
