Hello Guys and Gals,
Thank you for your interest and your very kind words.
Now, I have managed to make some progress.
First I erased all details from the wings' surfaces, because they will be replaced by the HGW photoetch parts (Can't recomment them, because the kits details are simply great and they forgot to add the surface details of the complete tail section)
After that I have primed everything with the Alclad II white primer and masked the uppersides of the wings with 1mm tape.

On the underside of the wing, I painted the ribs with dark sepia.

Afterwards everything was covered with hairspray and after drying, I brushed a layer of Vallejo brown over all.
Then I scraped most of the colour with a stiff brush and warm water off.

Then the wings were painted with high dilluted Tamiya deck tan and they were highlighted with a strong lightened up deck tan between the ribs.

After that I brushed the cockaded on the upperside of the upper wing and the underside of the lower wing.

here the show through ( ::)hope thats the right word) of the cockade on the underside of the upper wing.

Now the wings were attached to the fuselage.
The fuselage was undergoing a very extensive washing, pin wash and an oilpaint fading.

Hope, you like it, I am very satisfied with the ersult up to now.
Next step will be the struts and the final rigging and some touch ups.
Regards,
Manni
