Great stuff Terri. the quality of kits from the big manufacturers today puts their earlier work into the shade, but you are showing to excellent effect just what can be achieved in skilled hands.
Best wishes

Excellent work, Terri! I have to chime-in as well about the guns...
they look stunning. She's really looking the business now.
I'm looking forward to seeing the upper wing in place.
Cheers,
Ernie

Thank-you all very much for the kind comments !
The guns were a challenge working with such small photo etch parts , not something I used to working with , but the devil is in the details . I also tried a new method for the weathering using graphite sticks I pick up at an art's store . Panel line wash is done using a pastel wash and she is now ready for the dull coat which should be going on in the next few days . The cold meds I'm on really make me tired and all I want to do is sleep .

Hello, Terri -
Just catching up with your build again. I agree with others regarding your MG work -they look very realistic. Your build is developing nicely now and you must be getting closer to the finishing line?
Regards

Hey Dave ,
Yes , getting very close on getting this one wrapped up . I can start the weathering tonight and then it's finally assembly and rigging .

Terri, your build has been coming along beautifully and I look forward to seeing it finished. I am too much of a chicken to stray into challenging old kits, so I tip my hat to you.

Really nice work on this old chestnut. Your perseverance is admirable. Your comments on grinding out the interior of the cowl to fit an aftermarket engine struck a familiar chord.

Thank-you Chris and Rob
Well I didn't get as much done as I was hoping to this weekend , but I did get a fair bit accomplished . Main weathering is done , rigging attachment points are in place ( wire hoops ) and the prop ! I used coloured pencils for doing the laminations and for the wotan prop logo's I rob them from a P-51B decal sheet , they are small enough that you can't make out the detail but the red and gold is a close match .
