Nice work Terri, glad you got it completed after all of your hard work!  I just ordered the new tool version and also the resin engine and guns and even cloth seatbelts from Eduard.  Still will probably not have all of the interior detail that you added to this one!

Thanks Dave . I'm glad I was able to get her done with such good results . I'm debating on whether I should pick up the engine as well . The guns look nice but I still have a few of the Toms Modelworks PE sets .

Great model, really well done and looking exactly the way I would want to see this aircraft. Once again I will walk into your steps (just like for Hans Böhning's blue Pfalz), I have planned a SSW D-III for the coming months, along with a figure of Lola Zink posing in front of it.

OK I got it now. It's just that I didn't know the english name for this...

Hi, Terri, perhaps a stupid question? I had the opportunity at today's show to pick-up Eduard's SSW D.III ProfiPACK. I take it that this is a new version of this kit and not the "old" version you're working?

This will be my first foray into 1/48th scale bips, but I saw one of these completed in the competition and the gold insignia on black fuselage was striking (1618/18, Jasta 85 [Kest 5], Ltn. H. Dembowsky, 13 Nov 1918) although four other schemes are also included. The person who built the kit said that everything needed was in the box (including turnbuckles) and that it built with no problems.

Thanks!

Thank-you all for the positive feedback . Really appreciate it  8)

Hi Mark , Can't go worry with new tooled SSW D.III . You will need lozenge replacement and I recommend Aviattic's for this .
