Looking good, Rick.

I'm thinking of having a go at the Snipe once my Pfalz is finished, your build will help me with that decision  ;)

Awesome work on the innards, Rick, and that pilot is fantastic.  I've yet to work up the nerve to give that a try.  Must do it soon.
Cheers,
Bud

That's looking good, Rick.  The woodwork is looking particularly good.

That's a nice job on the pilot, though I can see what you mean by the yellow cast.

Cheers.

Dal.

Thanks Dal, good to have you with me on this project!

Bob, First thanks for your comments! I hope you do build the Snipe, the engineering really is first rate. From what I have run into so far I think the design is better than some of the kits that followed this one. JMHO of course.

Bud as always I appreciate your comments! As for the pilot I hope to get better pictures and post in the Aviation figures section. You really should give figures a go, they are interesting in that they give you a whole new skill set. I enjoy painting figures even though as with most things I am an Average painter. (I am good with that)  ;D

Ernie,
I appreciate your comments greatly! Have you decided for sure on your next build?

Here are the latest updates on bothe the DVa and the Snipe:
First the troublesome DVa. Not the kits fault by the way, problems have been self created. I have begun adding the details to the cockpit side. I also managed to break 2 out of 3 frames so had to glue them in place a little earlier than planned. SO I am working around them adding detail parts. The rear bulkhead has Aviattic Lozenge applied over some wrinkles created with Delta Ceramacoat.

The Snipe is going well:
I have finished adding the interior parts and attached the Vickers.
The fit is great and I have placed the coaming over the frame in a couple of photos just to show how good  it is.

Astonishing work, Rick!  My faith in your ability to pull off this near miraculous feat has not been misplaced.

Great update, Rick!  Your seatbelts in the Albatros are first-rate and despite the problems it
is coming along very well.  I love the woodgrain.
The Snipe cockpit is amazing.  Very well done, my friend.  Luckily the cockpit opening is
large enough to show off your talented workmanship.  I look forward to the next updates.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Hello All

I notice that the next edition of the French language aircraft modelling magazine Wing Masters (N. 99, publication date 28 February) lists a build of a 1/32 Snipe. But, I'm with you Rick!

Best wishes
Nigel

Hello Rick,

The interior of the Snipe is stunning, one of the best interiors I've seen. You are an ace in woodpainting! As for the Albatros, even though you had an accident, it looks great too. I forgot to mention the beautiful pilot earlier. Keep up the magnificent work Rick.

Kind regards
Patrick

Both very impressive, Rick, but your Snipe Cockpit really has my attention! Beautiful work and very eye catching. Obviously having double the work has not compromised your considerable talents, keep at it!
Cheers,
Lance
