Great start! The is looks brilliant - can you tell some more about the technique? The Smer`s Dh2 was my first wwI bird after a huge break in modelling. I`m sure that your model will be much much better than mine. Keep up the good work!
Here`s mine (nasty pics of a crude model - still I was very proud of it at the time;)

Best regards
Filip

Here is some more pics in progress. Engine got details, some corrections on a wing tips and new tubes. Slowly bt i think i am on the end of the first half.

Tubes, made from medic needles and styrene pieces. Much acurate than smer part.

Mistake in wings

and corected tip

tank

...and that's all for now.

Smer? I have this kit - actually no I don't - I threw it away!
Well done - a build worth watching.
Excellent!

Only just found this - a terrific build. That seat is so ingenious and the fabric is another excellent idea. That engine is something to be proud of - in all this is going to be a first class model - a silk purse from a sow's ear!

Hello Jak:

Your work and attention to detail makes the engine stand out.  You are making a silk purse out of this sows ear.

Best
