You're demonstrating that even without a lot of detailing the Roden kit builds up into a nice model - especially with your paint work.  You've toned down the white areas quite nicely.  Hope mine comes out as good.

Oh yes, I can only sign what Ken said!
And for me this is the first SPAD in PC10 livre :)

Good luck with the final bits!

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks to all for the comments. I haven't done a lot to this one but have made a meagre start to the rigging.

It looks as though you are about to finish two models in quick succession Rick. Fingers crossed that there are no disasters because both are of your extremely high standard.

Looking good Rick, your work bench is a very productive place where stellar models are born!

Thanks Stephen! I am hoping that this one is "Past" the disaster stage. Something I haven't mentioned is that while fiddling with something I managed to bump the upper wing. It loosened some of the struts and before I knew what happened the upper wing was totally detached! Got it back on but not quite as true as the original installation. Copious amounts of superglue have been used and if all is right in the universe should hold  8)

Thanks, I have managed somehow not to lose it on this build  ::) See the above!

The rigging continues. The flying and landing wires have been added to the front. Next the  the rear wires will be done.

I have also re done the rudder painting. I originally hand brushed the stripes. I didn't like the results so masked and sprayed.

This looks well up to your usual standard Rick. The rigging is first class and I had wondered where thee rudder had gone.... Here's hoping this one makes it to the display cabinet without any mishaps.

Stephen.
