This looks well up to your usual standard Rick. The rigging is first class and I had wondered where thee rudder had gone.... Here's hoping this one makes it to the display cabinet without any mishaps.

Stephen.

Thanks Stephen!

The End is Near. I have a couple of small parts to add while waiting for a mask for the serial number from Bob von Buckles. Then final touch up and one last rigging tightening session  8) Next update should be for the completed model.

Thanks Richie. I had to replace a few wires after the photo shoot . It is now ready for the serial number so this week I will focus on the DH2 while waiting for the masks from Bob  8)

Nice to see the wings fully rigged up.  Lots of wiring in there.
The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter!

Thanks Stephen.  Once the serial Number is added along with a couple of  small parts this should be # 10 for this year  ;D

One question, Rick.  How do you do your rigging tightening?
You do use monofilament, correct?

I have the top wing on my SPAD and am starting the rigging and already have a line with too much sag in it.
Any info would be appreciated.

Ken, I "Normally' Use the monofiliament  but in this case the rigging is HSS  8)  That being said I have had success tightening the Mono with an Incense Stick, and in the old days a lit cigarette  .  I think a soldering iron on low would work also but haven't tried.  :-X Be careful as it is possible to get too close and burn through the lines...How do I know this  ;D

This turned out real nice Rick.  It's odd to see it in Brit markings in PC10; you did an outstanding job.  The rigging is particular unique this aircraft and provides the modeler with another challnege not found in other aircraft of the era and it looks like you handled it in "True Rick Fashion"!

Thanks Mark. It is Fact that B3479 was doped in PC 10 during it's service in the RFC. What is speculation is if it happened after it was in 19 squadron  ::) I tend to think it was probable that it was in the yellow scheme while in 19 sq. but as No One has proof either way I went with the PC 10 to be different! As for the squadron markings that is also "Speculation". 19 went through quite a few marking changes during the time frame that B3479 was with the squadron  8)
