Excellent work again Rick, the interior detailing looks very convincing. I think you must be right about the leather padding on the seat, it would surely have been too uncomfortable without it. Your leather color look great too. 😀

Thanks Richie. I made some progress today. Photos to follow  8)

Nice interior Rick. I especially like the seat and seatbelts.

Thanks. The seat belts were one of the major things needing touch up...done now!

Wow, Rick! I take my eyes off the new posts for a few days and this appears! What lovely details so far, looking really good with lovely wood tones.. I will follow for sure.... Marc

Thanks Marc. Like I said touch up is done and I have made progress!

So today I did the interior touch up. Once again I am going "Out of the Box" construction wise. I have glued the left fuselage to the wing and lower wing center section. This will make it easier for Me to do the control wires in the interior. I have tested to make sure I can properly locate the right fuselage side and all seems well  ::)

Wonderful stuff Rick, lovely subtle wood grain, superb details and that DR1 has a real wow factor. I must check the build thread for that one. The streaking looks amazing.

Excellent idea on fixing the one side of the fuselage to the lower wing . I did the same even on Toko's 72 scale kit .
How is the fit of the lower wing ? I had to do some sanding but I did this to the lower wing so there would still be enough plastic on the root area of the fuselage . I had this fear that if I sanded that area down it would have been a weak join .

That interior looks very good Rick. I do like te idea of putting one half of the fuselage i place and then adding cockpit details. This site has an endless stream of good ideas.

Thanks Alexis. The fit was tough and yes I sanded the wing root. I still needed some Sprue Goo to fill some spaces  ;D

Thanks Stephen. The idea worked on this one but there are many that doing one half at a time would Not work on  8)

That's gone together very well Rick, it's always exciting when the first splash of colour goes on.
