I think your streaking looks great Rick! I read too that the varnishes used and weathering would give the Green a brownish tint, so to me it looks spot on, I wouldn't change a thing. I am going to use Tamiya Acrylics on my upcoming DR.I and can only hope it turns out as good as yours. Very nice Rick!
Thanks Mark. Like I said the color is actually more Olive Drab Green than brown but the brown tones would be acceptable

I used Valejo Olive Drab Green and Olive brown, along with a filter(Wash) intended for OD Armor Models.

Looks cracking Rick,
I love seeing everyone’s interpretations of streaking...
Guy
Thanks Guy! Yep, everyone seems to have their own idea

I am still thinking on this one. Perhaps when the band is added to the fuselage and the crosses are in place I will like it better !

My vote is that your streaking gets a pass with "flying colours"! I admire all of you modellers who achieve painting at that standard.
Stephen.
Thanks Stephen. I appreciate the vote of confidence!

Lovely streaking, Rick! And amazing progress, I must consider retirement! Regards, Marc.
Thanks Marc! As long as you are talking retirement from work I think it is a Fabulous Idea ! I Love being retired!!!

So I did the initial streaking on the Meng kit's center wing and left fuselage. This time I have gone back to oils so I have a couple of days to adapt, change, and refine the streaks

Again suggestions are welcome! This one is going to be Kirschsteins Jasta 6 stripey bird so no streaks aft of the cockpit!
