Wingnut Wings surprise Hannover Cl.II
« on: November 30, 2012, 05:32:30 AM »
Well you just knew they would surprise us with something before the Xmas cutoff date.

http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/product?productid=3086

Glad I waited a few days before putting in an order for the Tripe and Fokker's.

Unless I've added up too many E series kits, that makes about $719 worth of
kits in the last few weeks! I sure do wish I'd gotten more than one number on
last night's PowerBall!  ;D ;D

Well that one came out of left field! That's my Christmas present sorted. I love WNW surprises  :)

Well done Bryan Wall, Richard Alexander and team.

It takes a lot to brighten my day today (my father passed away yesterday) but this is a very nice unexpected pleasure.
Happy Modelling

James,
Sorry to hear of your loss. From the initial impressions I have of you he must have been a good man as he raised a fine son. Glad a model raises the spirits a little bit. Take care.

Excellent choice by Wingnuts to produce this kit, I have placed my order, and I relented and placed an order for the Fokker D.VII as well, ah well, it's Christmas.

James - so sorry to hear of your loss, my thoughts are with you and your family.

I add my thoughts and prayers for you James.  I lost my dad 16 years ago and I still miss him, although I know he's always with me.  It was his idea to take me to Rhinebeck Aerodrome when I was a youngster in the mid-60s; he always looked  after my interests.

Sounds like you could use a Hannover Cl.ii to lighten you load a little.  I just ordered mine.  You should go ahead and treat yourself.   :)  Take care.

Regards,

Bob

  Tim,
Now that's a grand surprise from WNW. Looks like I'll be placing an addition order after Christmas. The Tripe's and DH-2 just landed a couple of days ago and I looking foward to ordering both a Fokker D.VII and a Hannover Cl.II soon.
Highest Regards,

Sorry to hear of your loss James. My own father passed on about 15 years ago, but I still miss him. Cheer yourself up by continuing to pursue your passions in life, whatever they may be.

I couldn't say it any better than Lance, James. My thoughts are with you.

Cheers,

Wow, this is a surprise!  Thank you WnW!  :)  I wonder why it's $99 though.. that is more than all the other 2-seaters and some of them even have more parts.  Oh well, I will still get one anyways!

I'm sorry for your loss, James.  Think of the good times as Lance said..
