Might have been difficult but they look so good Rick! Time well spent I'd say.

Thanks Richie! I Hope to get the tips done today.

RAGIII,
It's good to see there is so much interest in your builds. I have a few of these kits in my stash.
It makes one wonder where the molds have ended up. Thanks for posting your progress.

I am happy that some like watching My processes  8) I also wonder about the Molds. This was IMHO, the best of the Hobby Craft 1/32nd WW1 subjects and has Never been released again by anyone!

Thanks Stephen. I must say I have had some frustration in trying to add ribs to the modified section. I may be getting close to something I can accept ::)

Thanks. I am progressing. Today I attached the lower wings to the fuselage on all three. Painting is getting closer  8)

Well, I am getting close to painting on two of the three. The Luke and Rickenbacker SPAD just need some final tweaking before paint. The Guynemer bird is lagging a bit behind...More to convert than I had originally thought  8)

Way to go Rick! You have done a great job of keeping them all pretty much together. That old Revell kit has about turned me off on Spads. There are several Spad XIIIs I would like on my display shelf and have been hesitating, but those kits look so much more fun to deal with than Ole Big and Clunky.
I am so waiting to see some color on them. (I'm about out of masking ideas for French camo).

;D Thanks Richard, those are wise words! The third will get there, it is just taking more than I thought it would.

What I am I now only seeing double?

These look really good Rick. As others have written, what you are doing with these kits is super in every way (x 3 of course!)

I admire your patience to keep working at three models simultaneously - as I have written before, one at a time is enough for me!

Stephen.

As always, thank you Stephen! I worked on the third one today, still applying ribs to wings and started adding some cut outs in the cowling. I also worked on Varying the control surfaces on two of the upper wings.

Number three moving forward....at least I hope  ::) Added the ribs which are rough in places, ok, all places, but I will be taping over some so may work out ! By tomorrow all should be ready for paint.
RAGIII

PS: Looking at the photos I see that My sanding and priming, then sanding really doesn't show much of the ribs...Oh Well, Just as well  ;D I also noticed a chip in the Aileron. This is something I have found pretty easy to fix. Super filler works great to repair thin surfaces!
