Very nice interiors and impressive figure, the second paintwork is beautiful.

Thanks Giuseppe. When I finish the pilot I will then make a decision on if I like him enough to actually use him  ::)

I am catching up Rick - not had much mojo recently.

The second attempt is clearly better than the first - and the face looks just right to me. The interior of the Camel is splendid- clearly another of your first class builds going on here.

So now it is decision time. My choice needs to be made on whether to use the figure or not. It will boil down to this: Does the figure enhance or take away from the Model  ::)

Just in case you're asking rather than posing a rhetorical question ... I think that particular pilot would certainly add to the character of the build. Well done either way, though.

Thanks for chiming in on the pilot! I said in the beginning of this thread that I wanted comments. Especially if someone thinks I can do better within My skill sets!

I will follow with interest and comment if there is anything. Probably mostly follow with interest and cheers, though. 😊
/Fredrik

I'm still quite content with following with interest and cheers... 🙌😃

Seriously - Your work is really good and I think that you probably are more critical of your work than necessary. Of course the figure is good enough for this build!

Next time you might do it even better, but if you don't finish things it won't be fun starting them either. So finish this part of the build and show us more!

Thanks for the comments reference the pilot! That being said sometimes things one is not sure of settle themselves. I attempted to get the pilot into place and found that he did not fit. I know it is something I screwed up in his construction because I have seen this figure used in several builds! with My Forced decision made I am going back to working on the cockpit as supplied. The photos show where I am now so still need to add all of the control wires and bracing wires.

I like your work on cockpit and the figure painting.
I think it was a good decision to repaint it - really pitty, that it does not fit. May be you can use it in another plane?

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank. I want to emphasize that the fit issue was of My own creation. That being said I may look for a standing RFC/RAF pilot figure wearing a flying helmet, and wearing or carrying gloves .
RAGIII

PS: I have just looked for a suitable standing Pilot and found just what I need from Copperstate Models...so won't even need to change the title of My Thread  8)
