The interior of the Camel looks very good Rick. I have to write that your figure already looks better than anything that I would have painted....!

Stephen.

Thanks Stephen. My Modeling Funk was due to realizing I was accepting things I could do better! It was never about anyone being better as I realized all along there are MANY BETTER Modelers out there! Therefore I am going to hold Myself to a HIGHER STANDARD!

Great work! I like the warm tones on the inside of the fuselage and I liked the figure as it was, but it's your build!  :)

On the issue of redoing things that you know you can do better... It's probably a very good approach if you're serious about getting better at what you do. I don't build quickly enough to be able to try new techniques the next time. I simply don't remember what ideas I had about improvement the next time I'm about to build/paint something similar. So redoing what you're not happy with is a good way to learn, I think! At the same time you mustn't let that get in the way of actually finishing what you're building - so balance (as always) is necessary.

Keep up the good work!
/Fredrik

Spectacular work so far, Amigo!  I know this is going to be another one of your masterpieces.  Great kit, isn't it.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Ken. I noticed that the upper right instrument needed some black touch up which has been taken care of  8)

The beginning of the "second" painting of the CSM figure. I figured that if I can't get the Sidcot to a point I like the rest didn't matter. So now working on the painting of the suit. I like it much better than My first effort so far.

Still a bit to do and since the oils are wet a bit glossy  :o

Yep, I wasn't happy the first time  ::) If I don't like the second painting I will just build the kit without Henry in the cockpit!

So a small amount of progress on the figure. With just some touch up the Sidcot is finished. I painted the face and put down the base for the Leopard Skin Helmet and Gauntlets.

PS: Still need to paint the Buttons on the suit  ;D

PPS: The Oils on the Helmet and gloves are still wet  ::)
