good progress Alistair, almost all sub-assemblies are ready and looks like closing interior frame is very close.
I like color of a delicate wood texture.

Getting it together now. I am enjoying this cockpit. The radio and all its very fiddly decals disappear but recorded...all fun and this is a great kit.

could you share the knowledge from which sources you used for radio compartment/ cable layout, have you got any pictures or sketches showing that part of rear cabin?

Thanks all,
Nearly all closed up now. Just got to get the PE seatbelts sorted. This one is going to be out of the box and the PE is diificult.

Buxby - I tried in vain to find sources for the wiring for the radio and got zero - a subject worth knowing more about. In the end I just took a punt based on some previous builds of the DFW. I figure the aerial tube must connect to the set and the winder generates the set. So from the aerial tube a connecting wire and from the winder a copper wire through to the set. This is all made up!

I know nothing about radios and if any one else does please comment. But, like much, it will all be invisible anyway.

I thought you got some more detailed pictures or drawings, the only picture I found is in the Roland C.II late instruction page 3, and it was slightly different from your interpretation - that's why I asked.
I am also not an expert in this field...
