I hope it's not a dumb question. How did you protect the parts in situ when you sprayed the backround with maskol or something similar , or did you just take the parts off and spray over the background colour on the parts?

No dumb questions Andrew! It’s really as simple as spraying the parts in situ, then removing the sidewall and then I gave that a slightly highlighted coat to give it some relief. With the gloss (for the pin wash and decalling) and subsequent flat coat - I just put it back in situ. I’ve just found over many kits that having no paint between parts is pretty crucial.
And your speed is impressive, you can register until March, but you don't need to be ready with the first project until that date to register a second one

Yes, I really ought to as this will be finished in a couple of weeks I guess... I haven’t got anything in the stash though
my 1/48 Brisfit was started too early.
So update, the cockpit is pretty much finished. Engine next.
