Beautiful updates since my last visit, I especially like the transparency effect of your painting.

230hp BMW IIIa engine. WingNut Wings kit with Taurus Models goodies like valve springs, rocker arms and spark plugs. Few scratch built details such as sump sight glass, copper wire plug leads and sump pan screw heads (to replace recessed ones with kit). Painted with acrylics and enamels and weathered with MIG washes etc....

That engine is just spectacular, you've used the after market bits and a bit of scratch building to great effect and the finish and weathering provide a degree of realism that's hard to believe, just excellent work! Very enjoyable to follow your progress here, a great Build! :)
Cheers,
Lance

Spectacular engine, Gary!  One of the most realistic I've seen.

Gary,

Have been following your build.  I thought the cockpit was fantastic - the engine is even better.   Really amazing work.

Like I said the engine looks perfect. Even better in place with the side panels left off to view the results! Looking terrific overall!
