Outstanding Gary, one of the nicest interiors I've seen here over the years! The turnbuckles, ammo chutes and that spectacularly finished seat all just "pop" out in the photos. This is going to be a real winner!
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks gentlemen  :D

Fuselage halves are joined together. The forward triangular pieces (depicting fabric covering on this kite) are seperate pieces and the grey lines are Mr Surfaced used to fill and small defects prior to final sanding.

Coming together nicely.
There are only two states to be in:  Queensland and blotto.

VERY slow progress - in fact, a lot of it spent in retreat. Experienced catastrophic issues with the originally planned markings - so much so that I ended up stripping teh fuselage back to bare styrene and am now going with one of  Ltn. Oliver von Beaulieu-Marconnay's kites using WNW lozenge as teh base 'colour' with Pheon winged sword and 4D markings. I'm waiting for the decals to dry fully before I start to apply blue paint - allowing the markings and lozenge to faintly show though....

Sorry to hear about your issues but it looks like you are taking it in stride and well on your way to the "New" Markings!

Progress is slow! Finally managed to get some more paint on. Blue and red are thinned down and applied lightly so the lozenge and previous markings just show though....

Looks excellent, Gary!  Love the way the markings show through.

Beautiful painting! The overpainting of the previous markings look perfect. You also have done an outstanding job on eliminating the seam on the triangular panel.

Thanks guys.

RAGIII - lost count of the amount of time I spent on those seams!!!!!

Taurus Models provide the Fokker type cowl fasteners. Fiffly, but huge improvvement on the kit renderings....
