    As you say Gary, "not a complete disaster, but ........".   I think it's a great approach to put it aside for a while and a new project will brighten your outlook a bit. Little folks and models are a bad mix; like most here, I suspect,  I learned that lesson the hard way too as a Father who built models on the side!
   Great subject you've chosen for therapy, and one of my favorite schemes.

Ouch....  That pulley looks marvelous, sorry to hear about mishap.  Grandchildren, gotta love them.

I agree with Lance on all counts and of course had something similar with my young Son. Oddly my Granddaughter spent hours in my model room from an early age and never touched one  8)
