Thanks RAGIII

Fuselage interior gets a coat of gloss white and them some preshading using Tamiya Smoke. The interior will be hard to see so the preshading is over exaggerated so it can still when the fuselage halves are joined together....

Aviattic CDL provides the interior finish.

Forgot to take some photos of the rigging on the side completed, but here is the other side with the cockpit tub installed - in fact, fitment is so good that I probably won't bother with any cement!

Thanks guys.

Crew tub is now selaed in place and the critical part of hiding the seams between the two fuselage halves is under way. A little wet and dry sanding is followed by a thin coat of flat grey to see if there are any visible lines. Any small areas are given a coat of Tamiya Mr Surfacer and left to fully harden before further sanding and more flat grey. Process is repeated until the join is invisible. Something I'm having to pay a lot of attention too as it wasn't something you had to wory about too much with armoured vehicles  ;D

Excellent work so far, very impressive. It's a pity to have to cover so much of it up by closing the fuselage......

Mixed news with this update I'm afraid....

Firtsly, decided to try to improve upon the pulley on top of the rudder but raiding my PE spares box along with some brass tube and wire and soldering everything together....

Rigging anchor points are being replaced with Gaspatch items....

Then..... Our grandson is staying with us tonight and I made a fatal error. Yep, you guessed it, he got hold of the taube while it was in the photo ooth in the study and....

Not a complete disaster, but certainly enough that it won't be a simple fix. I'll need to rebuild most of the rudder/skid assembly from scratch I think. But for now, I'm going to put it to one side and let the friustration dissapate and get something else underway before revisiting it I think.

My 1 1/2 year old is also a modeling hurdle, I moved my work area from my desk to the top of my dresser, and had to relocate all my models 2 shelves higher. The only casualties thus far are the prop on my Morane AI and the rudder on my WNW Triplane. My 5 year old daughter has only every broken one, and she has been ultra careful since!
