"And Lance: with your translation to german you surprises me"

Frank,
My Mother's side of our Family were all German Canadians (her maiden name was Seibel) and I grew up for long periods living with them on farms on the Canadian Prairies. I'm told I was pretty good at speaking and understanding the language (as it was spoken in the Alsace) as a youngster, now sadly I only recall a few words. However, regardless of the language that's really nice work! :)
Cheers, (and auf wiedersehen!)
Lance

What I've seen here (again) is second to none. Again your skills in micro soldiering and your eye for the smallest detail are truely amazing. Sometimes things need a break -- I cross my fingers for a quick return to that one and stay curious what comes next.
Best wishes

Beautiful Frank!

I keep being tempted by this kit. Would you recommend it?

Thank you Guy and Andreas!

The Bristol Fighter in general or this variant?

The Fighter kit by Eduard was released 2005, see the time line here, so it is one of the more modern kits. Also including some options, e.g. different tails:
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1150669-eduard-8126-bristol-f-2b-fighter

This special Crocodile release is a lot of work, you got only a huge amount of mask squares, which needed to be positioned on the model one by one. No help for alignment or so. So you need to decide yourself ;)
The decals printed by Eduard are a bit brittle. I think their actual print quality is better.

A moment ago this model was near to the trash bin ...
A nearly full bottle Extra Thin, Quick Setting falling over on my bench, 1/3 is missing now. The flood was nearly touching the wings! I was able to save them, but it ruined my cutting mat and the smell is terrible ... I was shortly before a heart attack in that moment ...
Such things are really not needed! >:(

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank, that’s helpful.

Re your spillage... that’s just a standard mishap for me!

The wings are Superbly done Frank! As for the spill, it happens. I once spilled an entire TENAX 7X bottle and Melted all of the Parts of a 1/48th Hurricane to my Matt. Glad you had more fortunate results!!
