Absolute stunner!
Everything looks like the real thing to me, especially the wigs. It would be great if you share your CDL technique with us!

here we go!
I painted the CDL this way:
1. A base coat of misterkit clear doped linen
2. I masked the spars, the ribs and other structural parts and airbrushed tamiya buff ( the important thing is that the second paint that you use is darker than the first).
3. When you remove the masking check the contrast and if is too much oversparay a light coat of the base paint to blend all.
4. in this case I masked again and sprayed a light coat of brown paint over the main spars, on some plane this is quite visible, just check this picture

This is the first time that I tried this tecnique, but it's not difficult, it takes only a bit of time for the masking
Anyway I think that another possibility is to paint first the spars and then overlay the CDL paint... a bit like preshading. I used this method because it was used in an article in Windsock magazine and looked good!
