WNW FE2B 6341
« on: August 05, 2013, 10:38:53 PM »
Kit manufacture: Wingnut Wings
Scale: 1/32
Type: FE2B early
Extras used: rb production raf wire etched fittings
Paints and colours used: tamiya, misterkit and lifecolor
Full build is here :  http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=896.0

The build is finished

I've learned a lot, it was my first big rigging project so I had some difficult moments, but the kit was so well engineered that all went well.
Thanks to everybody for the support  :)

here's the pictures ( could be better, but I'm a little busy with work and other things and I don't have much time...)

Beautiful work, Andrew. I still can't get over how realistic your CDL looks. Great job!

Very nicely done Andrew. I have visions of my kit turning out like this. Visions mind you, just visions!

Cheers,

Chris
You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

Andrew, you have quite an accomplishment there.  What a superb
model!  I very much like the engine...it's beautiful, and IMHO no-one
has done a better representation of CDL.  Wow!  Thanks for sharing
and I look forward to your next build.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Fantastic build, Andrew -

The sheer volume of rigging required on this model would put me off!!

Beautiful Fee! I am especially impressed by the semi-see-through effect on the CDL sections of wings and tailplanes. Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations Andrew on a superb build. The transparent CDL effect is the best I have ever seen, it is brilliant, and your rigging is excellent, well done.

Hi Andrew, great looking model. Your translucent CDL it's impressive.

To rig that model had to be mind (and pacience) blowing, but it's an amazing Fee to see!

Congrats for that beauty.

Cheers

What can I say that has not already been said? Amazing, beautiful and more ...... The CDL is just so realistic that I had to look again to believe my eyes.

Flawless, Andrew!  The most realistic CDL I've ever seen.  She's such a joy to look at.

Spectacular Andrew!
CDL and painting comes off beautifully and your work with the RB Productions Turnbuckles is most impressive, I have not yet worked up the courage to try those little devils!
  Congratulations on a beautiful model.
Cheers,
