I finally got up the nerve to assemble the jig. This proved to be easier than I had feared

That being said I have run into an issue. As most know I had progressed rather far along in my build when the decals and jig were released. The jig is designed for use without the tail plane attached. Mine is solidly glued into position! The result is that the fuselage doesn't rest as it should into D. As I see things I have two choices.
1. Remove the tail plane and use the jig as designed. This could result in damage to the paint and decals on the tail.
2. Try to adjust the height of jig part D to allow for the tail plane.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Just to be certain all understand this is in no way a problem with the jig!!
