Its also a wee bit of . . In the sun the blue paint, applied
by the groundcrew in Iraq, would fade more on the top wing than
the bottom wings (in shade), and the slot, being up front, would
tend to be more sand blasted and faded than the surface behind it.
I have tried to do this by adding tiny bits of white to the top, and
a wee bit grey to the lower wings . . .
Or so the theory goes . . . . Plus I think one was by flash and the
other was by a 100w lamp
A bugger to fit though.
