I dont mind that bit, to be honest. The air gets blue
at times as the carpet monster swallows little bits of
brass tube, but the end result usually, balances out
the swearing and heartache part  :)

Cheers Chaps

Funny I was just reading about WWII squadrons in Burma today, and there was mention of the 30 Squadron palm tree as a hold-over from WWI.

Love, the build, Dave. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Thinned down about 60/40 Flat Tamiya Blue and a steady hand.
I practiced it 3 times before I commited to both sides of the plane

Where did you order the steady hand from Dave? I can't seem to find them anywhere on the Net.  ;D

Seriously though, beautiful job on the palm tree.

Cheers,

Chris

Dave!  Wow!  This level of detail far surpasses anything WNW could include in the new kit.  As always, very impressive.
Cheers,
Bud

Hello Dave:

Just catching up a bit on the forum as I have been away for awhile, just languishing here in the great upper Midwest.
This is one heck of a project and it is truly outstanding.  I am just enjoying watching this progress.  As has been stated, so WNW is releasing a post war NINAK, yours is the tip of the spear and you broke new ground doing it.  Just amazing.  Your detail photo's for the rest of us to study, your methods, all outstanding and appreciated.

Looking forward to more.

Best

Mark

Glad to be of help, in any way, if you want to give one
a go in the future . .  ;) Only too happy to answer any
questions . . . I'm having a hoot building it. I did think
twice when I started, but I'm having FUN.

Cheers Mark

Wings on at last, letting the glue dry then the rigging
begins.

Just had three bloody teeth out too, on THursday,
so progress was slow, if any at all . . . .

Have a good week lads . . May the Force be with you 8)
