Edo,
Thanks for the drawings. About to start my Meng 1:35 FT-17 and these will be very useful.

looking at the diagram 208 hs to be an auxillary throttle surely? looks like it likns to the accelorator peddle, maybe its in case the foot pedal jams or is incapacitated.  206 is a bit of a mystery.

There used to be a WWI modelling site had lots of images of FTs and other manufacturers versions in museums all over the world.
It was a treasure trove for many WWI vehicles mainy tanks but... as is the way of the internet.. it closed it seems :-(

Hi guys!
indeed the site borsos suggested is a mine of information: all in french...  ???
but I managed to guess a translation more or less... (internet helps!) so 206 seems to be a handbrake and 208 seems to be some sort of fuel control.

Cool that you can make use of it!
Kornbeef, do you mean the landships site? It was run by Peter Kempf and he actually seems to have closed his site. But there seem to be a group of other fellows who run Landships II where they publish much of Peter's work again: http://www.landships.info/landships/index.html It's not the whole Landships, it was a huge site, but now there's even a forum that seems to be quite interesting .
Best Wishes

No Borsos.

It was a general WWI modelling page that covered new releases and walk arounds for all manner of things. I think it was ran by someone in New Zealand , it just had a wealth of images of vehicles and all manner of things. I know the Landships II forum yes.

I am just catching up on your build. I am very impressed with your work on the motor as well as the painting and weathering of the interior. Your detail work is exceptional!

Hey friends!
I am back with a small update. I have lost some of my mojo, but I hope that moving to a new phase of the model will bring it back...
anyway, here a re some pics of the (almost) closed hull. The engine is not installed yet, but tonight it will be in place.
I test fitted the engine and the hull cover and discovered that (my fault or Meng's) it is moved 3 mm towards the back!  >:(  :'( So I'll have to figure out how to fill the resulting gap...

This is all for now!

Hey!
thank you for the kind worlds! very appreciated!
Red Baron, thank you for the tip! I'll have a look.
I found also the rounds 3d printed on Shapeways, but, 30€ is a hell lot of money so I am still considering it...
I know it is an old story, but I found aftermarket prices very disconforting as I prefer to invest in new models rather updates
Anyway, thank you again, I'll have a look...

I started to paint the outside, far from finished, but wanted to hear your opinion...
so here it goes:

In the meanwhile I have started to build the café for the diorama.
This is the very beginning but wanted to show my procedure:

and the interior...

all togheter now...

this is all for now, wish you a pleasant week end!

You have done a great job with the camo, the paint colours are excellent, and the cafe is looking excellent.

That is stunning work Edo. I am particularly interested in how you construct your wrecked building as i would like to be able to build more items like this to go with some of my models in future. Thanks for showing us what you are doing - very informative.

Stephen.
