Jeff and Martin,
Thanks for looking and for your kind comments.
Jeff,
I attached the twin fuel lines to the tanks as close as a dry fitting indicated they would fit just prior to mounting the top wing, then bent them slightly to make the connections where they mate up on the rear cabane strut. I used Medium thickness CA for that step. It proved a relatively easy step and the rigging then came next. I used very thin strips of Real Metal foil and CA to do the clamps on the lines where they hook up to each tank. I hope this is helpful, are you planning to do one?
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks a lot for the info Lance!.... yes, I am doing one too mate.

Cheer's,
Jeff.

Sorry Jeff, I'd forgotten our earlier exchange on control line routing. Are you going to open a Build Log on yours?
Lukas, Thanks, always appreciate your comments!

Great job on the rigging Lance,

It brings me out into a cold sweat just looking at the pictures!  :P

The distressed fuselage is bang on for me.

A little more progress to report, finally got the legs on her and the bomb racks and bombs are ready to go on a little later in the Build. The landing gear took a bit of effort; I ended up leveling the wings by applying lots of tension on the top right/lower left wire and got the wingtips within 2mm of level which on this span is invisible. I also will have to replace the metal cockpit step I had added; it got knocked off at some point and has gone the way of the Dodo Species.

The struts and wheels were heavily weathered to match to nacelle......

The bombs were done in a much lightened Tamiya Lemon Yellow, kit decals applied with the exception of the metal rings on the noses of the 20 lb. Cooper Bombs which were cut from a piece of decal spares stock. These won't get mounted until I finish wrestling the tail booms on.

Now it's time to get the lattice tail booms on and start the flight control rigging (more rigging, oh good!! :-\ :P ::)) Again, so far so good........
Cheers,
Lance

Stunning.

I hope you will be there to take responsibility when my admiration for your build overcomes my common sense and drags me into a Fee of my own!

Lance,

This is all going really well, keep up the good work. The worn finish also looks really convincing.

If I could ever summon up the courage to tackle all that rigging,mI might be tempted to build a Fee.

Best wishes for the tail-booms and the remaining rigging.

Guy,
Thanks for the nice comments, the Machro functions must be getting a little worn on my little Canon!
Chris,
It's really not that bad, come on, go for it!
Dave,
Thanks much for the supportive comments. The rigging isn't as daunting as it looks, this build would be mere putty in your skilled hands......!
and Des,
Thanks as always, it's always a good thing when the Chief "Forumite" offers positive comments and encouragement!
Cheers All,
Lance
