Excellent work on the seats, Antonio!  The build is coming along
well and I am looking forward to the next updates.  I wanted to
thank you for providing the beautiful series of markings...the Belgian
thistle version shown is also my favourite for the Hanriot.  Well done,
my friend! :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Hallo everybody,
just some pictures from my triple build:

Work on the 3 cowlings, here shown at a different stage:

the rightmost one appears a bit too big...

some putty applied to the junction of the two pieces (really can't understand why they divided the cowling like that)

This is a sketch of how I will try to build the pilots's cage

This is a schema of the floor, in the Coppens' plane the CDL (yellow) part will be aluminum doped

Here I started working on the wooden framework of the cockpit.

I went a bit further with primer on some piece and aluminum on the parts made of metal before covering them with the final coat of paint and on some cockpit gear.
I will post maybe some more picture later.

Thanks for looking

Antonio

Antonio,
I seem to have missed this update. Very nice work on your research drawings and on the interior frames, floors, and engine cowlings.

Thank you Ernie, here are some pictures about painting pieces:

I painted fuselage interiror: the Italian Macchi built HD1 were doped as usual with clear dope while the French built left the factory in Aluminum dope.

I painted the cowlings in metal, will cover them and all the external metal parts with the final coats of paint

The seats from plastic turned to wood  ;D

Other pieces to use in the cockpit: on the floor I repeated the linen/metal division and tried to make some dirty traces of the rigging.
The instrument panels are painted on the reverse side, the instruments are carved on the plastic and I don't like them, I will make 3 different IPs.

Here is the floor rigged and the frame of the floor painted wood.

The frame here was just laid over the floor to see how it looks.

I also made a drawing to understand how to create the tail structure...

More later... hopefully

Thanks for looking!

Great update Antonio, you are really putting some great detail into these little gems. They'll provide a beautiful scene when finished and displayed together. Pretty to watch them come along!
Cheers,
