Ondra -- awesome work as always.

According to my sources the radiator should be dull silver  --they were double-dipped in molten solder and left unpainted.

Many thanks to all!

@WarrenD: please PM me your adress, I will send you some red plastic from my stock.

@Bo: I knew you would come around to help me, thanks a lot! This really is a great help, I studied all the photos I have but the radiatior is barely visible on almost all, not even speaking about the color. Replicas are mostly showing the radiator in greyish green, but those are still replicas...

Ok, decision taken, it will be Bäumer's kite, the green tail is really cool (besides that, I already have one of Manfred's machines in my collection).

Basically all the previous effort on the tailplanes disappeared under the coat of green, but nevermind, I love that shade. It showed some flaws which will require a touch-up.

The red outlines will be quite challenging but I will find a way to replicate them. :)

And this is what the wheels look like before wash and weathering.

Hello everybody,

not much time for the workbench recently, so I just made a slight progress on the lower wings - markings applied using masks. Not perfect but I can live with it. I will have to rework the inspection panels - the first version was made using 0.1 mm styrene sheet, but those were too thick, so I will replace them with panels made of aluminium foil.

Many thanks for looking and leaving such a nice comment, Jeroen.

Some progress on the fuselage - originally I thought the dark stripe on the fuselage was painted with caput mortuum, but Sergey had made a research on this machine before and found out this plane originally had a black stripe on the fuselage, which was later on overpainted with red with black showing through. Masking was quite difficult but I like the result. I am having difficulties downloading photos from my phone (Windows 10 still needs to get some bugs fixed, obviously...), hope to post more photos with progress tomorrow.

Cheers
