Hi guys,

my contribution to the group build will be this little beauty.

Currently I am studying drawings and thinking about how to divide the fuselage correctly into sections - this will be my first build with a fuselage of this complicated shape, so please keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hope to post photos on progress during tomorrow.

Many thanks for your nice comments, dear all, they are a great encouragement to me.

I keep working on the fuselage, the cockpit will be really chalenging. I downloaded the WNW instructions to use them as a guideline and have to say that the Albie will be totally different from any of my previous builds as to construction.

Here is the base for the main parts - upper and lower wings, wheels and tailplane.

And the best - these six little beauties arrived last Thursday, 3D printed Mercedes D.IIIa from Bo Monroe's Flugzeugwerke. They are real little gems, many thanks, Bo, you did a great job. How was the song from elementary school? One little, two little, three little Mercedes.

Hope to find some time next week and to start working on details like pilot's seat, MG's, engine and cooler.

I can't emphasize enough how much I admire your scratch building in this TINY scale! I have found myself struggling with my Eduard 1/48th build recently

Many thanks to all of you for looking in and leaving such nice comments.

Last evening while studying photographs I noticed I am actually building a D.V, not D.Va, at least it looks like that from this photo. I do not see any control wires going from the lower wing to the ailerons. Am I right?
