The triple struts holding the wing are ready, in these pictures they are not glued, will be removed when putting on the decals.

Excellent progress, Antonio!  The E.V is really
starting to take shape now.  Great job of the struts!
I'm looking forward to the next updates, my friend. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thank you Martin,
 :)

meanwhile I made some progress:

I found in my decals shoebox the HGW stitching, although thry are in 48th (they don't seem to make the 72nd scale version) I decided to give them a chance and tried (on the left) to stick a small piece of stitch on a spare plastic and "cover" it with a waste piece of the Aviattic lozenges, they fit together very well and I proceeded to use them on the plane belly.

Then I cut all the needed panels from the Aviattic sheet.

And these are the results:

I'm pretty satisfied with it...

Now I shall slide the crosses and the stencil decals over the lozenges, according to your experts' opinion should I seal the lozenges before sliding the other decals over them or is it possible to put the other decals over them and then seal all together ?
(I use a Humbrol acrylic satin varnish rattlecan to seal the whole)

Here is the leaflet with the stencils printed out on my Inkjet (see enlargement below to see the printer's resolution).

Ciao!

Thanks Cajun and Rick!

Here is the last update for today, stencils and side crosses were slided in their place without any sealing before.
The lozenges were perfectly dry (were put on 24 hrs ago), now I want to wait some hour before handling the fuselage again, will try to touch up the rearmost black band, and then seal everything off with satin varnish.

Thanks for lookin' !

Thanks everybody, I am happy enough with the result so far, I have sprayed the Humbrol acrylic satin varnish over the stencil decals before sliding them over the lozenges and then I sealed evrything off with the same varnish... The result is great: no silvering at all, I used to seal the decals after Inkjet printing with a matt varnish and they always had the silvering effect, which was due to the matt finish I guess, now I have found this Humbrol spray can which has solved (hopefully) the problem.

Ciao
