I remember when Roden's 1/32 WWI range was launched. The Albatros in particular was hailed in Windsock magazine with all sorts of platitudes. The advent of WNW seems to have relegated them to the ranks of the "for experienced modellers only". That's progress I suppose, but they do offer kits that WNW don't at half the price. And without horrible VAT import charges!
Build logs like this are spectacularly useful, as a known problem is fairly easy to solve. It's finding problems during the build that, as everybody knows, is so very frustrating and leaves many models half built on the dusty shelf of doom.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this build log - I've printed it out & put it in the kit box, so when I fancy a challenge I'll feel a lot more confident of giving it a crack. You've built it up to a lovely looking model, the finish in particular is excellent. I wish British planes were as colourful!
