Out of commission
« on: August 28, 2014, 09:01:53 AM »
Hey guy's ,

I won't be doing any modeling for awhile . I did major damage to my right shoulder cup that the damage has extended to my fore arm and might have to have surgery to repair the damage depending on what the specialist says ' :(

Damn, what a bummer, hope you are not suffering too much pain Terri, how did you damage your shoulder? Even though you may not be able to model hopefully you can still spend time on the forum and keep in touch with everyone.

Thank-you Des and Rick  :)

Des , it started on my holidays when I was doing painting on the outside of the house . I pulled muscles in my right shoulder . When I went back to work I did let my employer know but it didn't do any good at all . Ended up doing strenuous work for the past two weeks while co-workers were away . Well this made it worse to the point my right arm can't hold the weight of a can of pop . I'm off work now until next week . Not allowed to really move my shoulder for a few days . Yup lot's of pain , but they gave me some pretty dame good stuff ! I'll still be online keeping up to date , there are a lot of excellent builds going on !

Well, don't hold anymore cans of pop, T!  Replace those with beer.  Should compliment the pain meds nicely.   ;) Sorry you're hurtin', sis.  Hope your well soon.
Cheers,
Bud

Terri,
Very sorry to hear of your problems, I hope they are of short duration. As you say, at least you can be on-line and keeping up to date with many of the fine Builds going on. Take it easy, get better soon and you'll be back at that bench sooner rather then later!
Cheers,
Lance

Ouchies.... I know how it feels.

Lots of rest then lifting your arms no higher than the modelling bench is my course of treatment. Unless of course the chocolate is in the higher cupboard shelf of fridge.  ;)

Hello, Terri -

Sorry to hear about your shoulder - what a (excuse the pun) a bloody pain!

Still, at least it will give you time to decide and reflect on your next (Pfalz?) build.   I hope you are going to be waited on nicely while you are recovering .......................

Regards

Hello Terri

I'm so sorry to hear about your shoulder and the associated problems.  Give yourself the time to recover properly but it's great to hear that you'll still be tracking things and keeping in touch via the forum.

Best wishes
Nigel

Sorry to hear that Terri, rotten news. I pulled a muscle in my chest about a fortnight ago, bloody painful, it's ok now but these things take time. You've got to rest up.

All the best,
Tony
