Hi!

The painting work is going on.
I only have to paint the blue lozenges.
Now I understand why almost all the planes where repainted at the front, covering the fuselage lozenges with blue and green paint... This plane could be spotted from Paris with this scheme ;-)

This looks like hard work. I wouldn't like doing all this masking... But the result will be worth it.

Progressing nicely. Are you mixing colours to match the decals?

Yes, I'm trying to match the decals, not exactly, but close

I somehow managed to miss this update  :-[ Outstanding masking and painting! Your colors seem to match well to me!

Hi!

The fuselage logenzes are finished (the top... now I have do the bottom) !  :)

I forgot a couple of logenzes from the wing center section, but I'll add them
and I need to correct some "not so clean" sections, but I'm satisfied of the result  8)
The tail will painted white and of course I'll add the weathering after adding the decals.

The right side : I had to trace the logenges by myself, because there's no profile in the instructions and no pictures.

A small test with the complete wing. In the center section I still have to paint the fuel tank and the radiator.

That's all

Terri

well, the masking is only on the wing and elevator surface, all the fuselage is done freehand like on the real plane, so it's not that long... in about half an hour you can mask a color

That's some very talented painting you're doing there, Andrew, and your results are drawing me ever closer to ordering one of these before it goes OOP.
Cheers,
Lance

Beautiful job on the lozenge, Andrew!  This is going to be a real stunner when finished.
